Review | The USA Beauty Edit By Perthgrub

16th October 2017 | By Guest Editor Krystina Simka Milosevich

Beauty bloggers are often sent PR packages and generally have access to some of the latest and greatest makeup and skincare finds (hard gig). However, it’s always so lovely to hear that despite the sometimes overwhelming saturation of products, our Maslow & Co. Beauty Edits manage to make it in the everyday routines of these ladies-in-the-know, no matter their skin type, hair colour or general style.

We checked in with PerthGrub – a blog headed up by Krystina and is a fantastic rescource for all things food (yum!), lifestyle and of course beauty and found out her thoughts on our latest American Beauty Edit.

PerthGrub - The Review

This month, Maslow’s featuring the best of niche American products in the skin and makeup world! Read on to find out why we’re obsessed with this box.

What’s in the box?

  • Odacite Serum set of 3 (eye contour, Hydration, Pimple or Radiance)
  • Purlisse Lotus Mud Mask
  • OUiGLO Collagen Rich Mask set x3
  • CLE Cosmetics Cushion compact highlight (Exclusive to this month’s box – not yet available)
  • Doucce Eyeshadow palette (Brown or Smokey)
  • Apotheca Immortal supplement

If you’re a skincare fiend, you’ll definitely be making a few new friends this month! Odacité are a Californian brand owned by French born Valerie Grandury (and we all know what French skincare means!). The brand combines efficacy with purity to create high-performance skincare. Their products are the best of two worlds; luxurious French skincare and green California living. The samples in this box are a great way to find which routine suits you!

Looking to brighten, nourish and tighten your skin? OUiGLO has got it all in their handy Collagen Masks. Enriched with collagen, liquorice, apricot, cucumber and grapefuit, the mask is an instant glow-getter. Use three times a week for maximum results, or as a boost pre-makeup (or post crazy working week!).

The Purlisse Lotus Mud Mask is small but mighty. A 10-minute facial treatment designed with Blue Lotus Seeds, White Clay, Bamboo, Ginger, White Tea and Mushroom Extract. This multi-tasking mask instantly brightens, detoxifies, tightens and soothes skin while gently exfoliating. Tuck this one in your beauty stash for those days your skin is craving a healthy boost!

Cle Cosmetics are a wonderful niche brand combining western and eastern beauty. Their latest product, which is exclusive to Maslow and Co, is the Cushion Compact Highlight. Click here to read all about it in our guest article over at maslowandco.com.au.

Doucce eyeshadows are the high-impact shadows for people who like simplicity. Combining both matte and shimmer shadows into one palette, these shadows are great for on-the-go and travel. Spice up your look by wetting the shimmer shadows before applying. Great for taking your look from day to night!

The Apotheca Immortal supplement created by Inner Ego was created to restore and nourish your “true beauty from within”. This tonic is formulated to slow the signs of skin fatigue and restore youthful radiance. Herbs rich in Vitamin C, Polyphenols and Antioxidants feed your skin from within, promoting your skins natural glow.
