The Biggest Eyeliner Trends Set For Winter 2017
27th April 2017 | By Jessica Taylor
Black eyeliner was everywhere at AW17. Normally this would make me sweat a little knowing I still need to a bit more practice, however to my delight the classic winged perfection got a edgier makeover. From graphic angles to smudgy undone eyes, the season ahead is primed for those looking to colour outside the lines.
Whip out your new Doucce liquid eyeliner Maslow Mavens (our special VIP members each received this in their Japanese Beauty Edit) and start getting creative. Here is our wrap up of the biggest trends set for 2017.
A new playful dimension to the classic winged eyeliner, transforming it into modern and graphic strokes. Spotted at Giamba, Kenzo and Oscar de la Renta

It's more than ok to go out tomorrow in today's eyeliner, taking a cue from 3.1 Phillip Lim, Rag & Bone, and Chloé. "Either degraded on the bottom lash line or lined only in the centers of the eyes, black liner takes on a new look being a bit unfinished," says makeup artist Martin. Whether grungy, slightly worn in or architectural, your only mission is to leave the hyper-flawless look in 2016.

The world of beauty is no stranger to seeing trends appear, disappear and then reappear years later. One such trend that’s made a comeback is the dot eyeliner. Since it was first donned by Twiggy in the early 60’s, dot eyeliner has been slowly creeping back into runway fashion. Small dots are placed underneath the eyes to emphasize longer, fuller lashes. The tip being that the dot should be lined up with your pupils to ensure a symmetrical look.
